Painter, photographer, fashion designer, born in Gdansk, graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. After a short period of realism and figurative painting she developed her own language in abstraction creating a long series of “colour field” pictures in green that show a close relation to Abstract Expressionism with its prominent representative Mark Rothko and British painter Peter Heron with his balancing of colour and space. Her works reject the window view perception and invite viewers to a free flight over green lands as seen from aerial perspective experiencing by birds and pilots of paragliders. The balanced compositions lack of spacial orientation and gravity so may be viewed even upside down and considered either an abstraction or aerial view landscapes. Lately the Artist has introduced other colours to her palette and applied techniques enabling relief effect.

She also achieved success at analogue photography. Her photographies made with a primitive Soviet camera present flashes of reality caught in between “here” and “there” by the Artist as a “mystery hunter”. Blur, double exposition, dim light and other mistakes listed in a camera manual are effective tools of creative deconstruction in Artist’s hands.
